"How the Test Was Won" is the 8th episode of Kid vs. Kat and the 8th episode of Season 1. It aired on April 4, 2009 with I'm Okay, You're a Kat.
Plot Summary[]
Coop was worried about what his Dad would be when he sees his Report Card but when Kat snatches it out of Dennis' hand and gives it to Burt, his plan backfires and he was not impressed because he didn't know it was possible to get a K in Gym Class which Dennis said while reading his Report Card. Dad was planning to extend his bedtime so Coop persuades him that he'll ace his science test tomorrow to bring his grades back up before he makes his decision. As Coop prepares for a big test, Kat comes up with multiple ways to distract him from studying after listening on Coop's plan as he explain it to Dennis. It culminates in Kat making Coop fall asleep when he's trying to study, his cooking got his attention. This gives Kat the time to put Coop in Old Lady Munson's birdbath and sew shut the sleeves of Coop's shirts and trousers, try to trap him in the basement, and do other things to make him miss his bus. Coop races after the bus on a wagon, and Kat ironically helps Coop remember the things he should have been studying by making Coop use what he learned about inertia to throw Kat off the wagon. Because of Kat, Coop ends up getting having a B+ on the test and he "accidentally" spills water on Kat making him run off while giving an example of the bonus question and Millie goes after him with a towel. However, one of the reasons he wanted to ace the test was to get an earlier bedtime, which his father didn't give him in the end because of Kat wrecking the house and apologize to Millie so Coop decided to go to bed early after a long day which made his Dad realised that he shouldn't tried that years ago before walking off as the episode fades away.
